Dillon Caldwell5'8". Dunking anyway.

I’m a college student from Cleveland, Tennessee who dunks a basketball at five foot eight — and reviews the cheap hoop shoes everybody actually buys. One of those videos has been watched 302,000 times.

Dillon Caldwell dunking a basketball

The short version

Most dunk accounts are run by guys who are six foot four. I’m 5'8". That’s the whole reason people stop scrolling.

I’m a college student in Cleveland, Tennessee. I post two things: dunks, and honest reviews of budget basketball shoes — the $45 pair, not the $200 pair. It turns out the second one is what people really wanted. My most-watched video is about a cheap pair of hoop shoes, and it did more than 300,000 views from an account with fewer than 500 followers.

I’m early. I’m not going to pretend otherwise — my TikTok and YouTube channels are only a few weeks old. What I do have is a hook that already worked, a rim I can get above, and a posting habit I’m not planning to break.

I learned my 360 off one foot from Ben Hopkins. I watch Travis Reynolds and take notes. I’m trying to get where they are, and I’m filming the whole climb.

“For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve.” — Mark 10:45. Scripture goes on most of what I post. That’s not a brand decision, it’s just where I’m coming from.

The numbers, straight

Small account. Outsized reach.

302,081Views on my best-performing Reel — “Favorite $45 hoop shoes”
677×That video’s reach as a multiple of my follower count
6.85%Like-to-view rate on it. A strong Reel runs 2–4%
20,689Likes on that single post

Straight talk for anyone evaluating a partnership: I have 446 Instagram followers, and my TikTok and YouTube channels launched in July 2026. My reach is spiky, not steady — a typical recent post does hundreds of views, not hundreds of thousands. What the numbers above show is that when the hook is right, this account travels a long way past its own audience. That’s the bet I’m asking a brand to make with me. Figures pulled from Instagram, 15 August 2026.

What I make

Two things, on repeat

1

Budget hoop shoe reviews

The honest take on shoes real hoopers can afford. This is my proven lane — it’s where the 302K came from, and it’s a standing highlight on my profile alongside “Sad Shoes,” where the pair doesn’t hold up.

2

Dunks at 5'8"

Every session filmed, including the misses. Standard rim and low rim, working toward the pro-dunker catalogue one trick at a time.

3

The climb itself

Learning in public — new dunks, gear that arrives, the setbacks. People follow the progress, not just the highlight.

Shoe brands, grip socks, jump training, recovery, faith-based apparel — if it belongs on a court and you want an honest test in front of an audience that buys on value, let’s talk.

What working together looks like

I’m a micro-creator with a proven hook, not a finished audience. That means you get the honest version: real testing, real opinions, and a price that reflects where I actually am.

What I can deliver — product review Reels and TikToks, unboxings, dunk content featuring your gear, on-court durability tests over weeks rather than one post, and usage rights so you can run the good ones as ads.

What I won’t do — say a shoe is great when it isn’t. The reason the $45 video worked is that people believed me.
